Patek Philippe “5004G” Split Seconds Perpetual Calendar Chronograph

Up for grabs is a watch that needs little introduction: the split-seconds perpetual calendar chronograph from Patek Philippe, the reference 5004. The reference 5004 was first introduced in 1994, and is credited as the first serially-produced perpetual calendar split-seconds chronograph. This reference was produced from approximately 1996 to 2012, with around 1000 pieces made in total across all the metals. This particular example, according to the Extract of the Archives, was produced in 1999, and housed in 18kt white gold. Further, the condition on this monumental Patek Philippe is great, lightly polished in the past but with all hallmarks still visible and retaining nice definition to the faceted lugs. Additionally, the watch remains on a blue leather Patek Philippe strap and matching white gold Patek deployant buckle.
