Patek Philippe “3970-002J” Perpetual Calendar Chronograph

Up for grabs is a spectacular example and set of a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, reference 3970-002J in 18kt yellow gold.  This particular example was produced with a factory integrated bracelet. Many collectors and enthusiasts unanimously concur that the 3970 is the last great “bargain” in the vintage Patek world, where other comparable perpetual calendar chronographs, either produced earlier or later, cannot be bought in the same price range as 3970s.  This watch will be accompanied by an Extract of the Archives, which is currently on order and will be delivered to buyer on receipt.

This Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph is in excellent vintage condition. The case – if it was ever polished – was done very lightly, with crisp hallmarks.  Likewise, the dial is immaculate, with no flaws.  Further, the bracelet will fit an approximate 7.5″ wrist.
