Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular Patek Philippe Calatrava reference 2508, housed in 18kt yellow gold. The 2508 was produced for around 15 years, from the early 1950s to the mid 1960s, and features a larger, 35mm waterproof case. This particular example, according to the Extract of the Archives, was produced in 1956, and subsequently sold in 1957.
The condition of this Patek Philippe Calatrava is excellent. The case, possibly lightly polished in the past, is well-preserved, with nicely defined lugs and prominent hallmarks. Further, the dial remains very attractive, with no visible wear or damage, and a nice raised-enamel signature.
