Offered here is a “first series” Patek Philippe Aquanaut, the Reference 5060A, first debuted and released in 1997. Initially limited to approximately 1,000 pieces, the model was introduced shortly after the brand’s first highly-successful sports watch, the Patek Philippe Nautilus celebrated its 20th anniversary. The present example comes complete with its original Patek Philippe box, Certificate of Origin, and Patek Philippe service papers from Japan. Further, it is still fitted on an original Patek Philippe tropic strap (uncut) and Patek Philippe buckle.
The Aquanaut itself is in great vintage condition. The case has been professionally detailed and is extremely clean. Likewise in condition, the dial and hands are impeccable, with no wear, and nice yellow patina to the luminous.
