Patek “5060J Diamond-Dial” Aquanaut

Offered here is a “first series” Patek Philippe Aquanaut, the Reference 5060J, first debuted and released in 1997.  Initially limited to approximately 1,000 pieces (as the ref. 5060A for steel and 5060J for gold), the model was introduced shortly after the brand’s first highly-successful sports watch, the Patek Philippe Nautilus celebrated its 20th anniversary.  The present example features an incredibly rare (this is the only example we can find) with a factory ribbed and diamond-indices dial, as confirmed by the Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, which accompanies the watch. Further, it is still fitted on an original Patek Philippe brown “tropic” rubber strap (unsized and brand new), and Patek Phillipe butterfly gold buckle.

The Aquanaut itself is in great vintage condition.  The case has been professionally detailed (by Patek Philippe) and is extremely clean.  Likewise in condition, the dial and hands are excellent, with no wear or major damage (save for one tiny speck of lume missing from the minute hand).
