Description
Up for grabs: an Ōtsuka Lōtec No.5 Kai — an independent Japanese piece from watchmaker Jiro Katayama, built around a satellite “wandering hours” display in place of conventional hands. A genuinely rare, JDM-exclusive piece from one of Japan’s most talked-about independent/micro-brands. In this steampunk-inspired watch, three rotating satellites carry the hours across a 120-degree minute track. This Otsuka features an in-house satellite module on a Miyota movement, and is made with an open-worked dial exposing the gear train and escapement. This Otsuka has been worn only sparingly and comes complete as a full set, as sold new.
