Minerva Valjoux 72 Chronograph

Description

This is a great example of a rare Minerva chronograph. Minerva is a historic manufacture, and a brand most famous for producing chronograph movements (and for other brands as well) and today is part of Montblanc in the Richemont group.

This example is in great vintage condition, with a very clean white, 3-register dial. The dial is in very good condition, with only some wear to the inside of the registers. The original lume in the markers and hands have aged to a breathtaking orange patina. The case may have been lightly polished, but is still retains the original bevels.

Minerva is an underrated brand that has seen a huge uptick in interest amongst collectors lately, and represent huge value in the chronograph market.
