Up for grabs is a lovely Longines time-only, also dubbed the “Sei Tacche”, meaning it has six notches on the screwdown caseback. This example, produced circa 1940s, is fitted with a gorgeous and rare two-tone black and grey gilt dial.
This Longines Sei Tacche is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and in great shape. The gilt dial is also very well-preserved, with only the lightest of spotting towards the center of the dial, visible only with a loupe. The original radium lume is still present on the dial, aged to a golden yellow; the hands have been relumed at some point in the past, and glow slightly longer than the dial when tested under a UV light.
