Offered here is a very rare and special Gubelin triple-date moonphase Ipso-Matic, produced circa 1950s. Gubelin is one of the most famous retailers of wristwatches, based out of Switzerland, and founded in 1854, similar to Tiffany & Co. in the United States, or Serpico Y Laino out of Venezuela. Most Gubelin-signed or produced watches are only signed on the dial; this watch was produced by Gubelin themselves under their Ipso-Matic line, made as a triple calendar watch with moonphase. The watch itself is in excellent vintage condition, with an unpolished and sharp case, and perfect dial, with a lovely cream patina set in, truly lovely to see.
