Description
Glycine was first established in 1914 under the name ‘Fabrique d’Horlogerie La Glycine’. For some great reading on the history of Glycine, head on here: http://glycintennial.com/history.html
The Airman SST was a watch made in the 1960s, initially for U.S. Air Force Pilots. Stephen Pulvirent of Bloomberg wrote an amazing piece on this watch, and you can find it here: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-08-24/this-supersonic-pilot-s-watch-is-a-great-way-to-start-a-vintage-collection
What’s more to say? You are getting an absolutely mint, unpolished, and perfect example of this watch, nicknamed the “Pumpkin” for its bright orange colors. That’s not enough? No problem. Included is the watch’s original steel bracelet, wooden box, instructional booklet, and hangtag.
A full set like this doesn’t come up often (if ever). We highly recommend you run!
