Description
This is a lovely and mint example of a Gigandet diving chronograph. Coming in at a massive 40mm, and sharing the same case as some other popular diving chronos, such as the LeCoultre Shark and the Heuer Autavia 2446C, this watch wears very well on the wrist.
The example offered here is in stunning condition. The steel case (a lot of these were housed in chrome cases) is unpolished, with some minor dings. The dial is perfect, and the bezel has lightly aged giving it a “ghosted” appearance. The lume on the hands and dial have aged evenly and to a lovely light cream brown color.
