Description
Up for grabs is a rare Eterna-Matic Super Kontiki, presumably a second execution, with black gloss dial. These rare divers are hard to come by, and are usually relumed, or have degraded dials. This example also comes on its original, rare steel beads-of-rice Gay Freres bracelet.
This Super Kontiki is in great condition, with an unpolished case, with normal wear, and light pitting to the back. The dial is in great condition, still very glossy and clean, with light wear to the edge of the dial between 4 and 5 o’clock. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a pale yellow color.
