Eberhard “Pre-Extra Fort” Tri-Tone Chronograph

Description

Up for grabs is a very attractive Eberhard “Pre-Extra Fort” chronograph, circa 1940s. These watches, which were oversized for the time, were housed in 40mm fixed bar stainless steel cases, and often featured sector and snail dial combinations. The present watch features such a dial, with three tones/shades of color, depending on from which angle you are viewing the watch.

This Eberhard chronograph is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished. The dial shows some fade overall, consistent with the age of this watch, but has fantastic detail and legibility.
