This is a great example of a rare Dugena “Big Eyes” Valjoux 7733-powered chronograph from the 1960s. Very reminiscent of the Heuer Autavia, this watch draws many comparisons and stylistic cues from the early iterations of the Heuer Ref. 3646, with oversized registers.
The watch itself is in great vintage condition. The case is unpolished with razor sharp lugs, and one minor ding on the lower right lug. The original winding crown also has one ding. The blue sunburst dial is absolutely gorgeous, and clashes well against the faded blue bezel. The dial has light spotting and blemishing. The original creamy yellow patina is fully in-tact and present on both the hands and dial.
