Offered here for sale is a 1980s Cartier Tank Louis “Extra Thin”, reference 96065. The Extra Thing or “Extra Plate” model was Cartier’s higher end Tank Louis model, thinner than the normal Tank Louis offered at the same time, and powered by a Frederic Piguet movement (as opposed to an ETA movement). This particular Cartier Tank Louis is in excellent vintage condition, with an unpolished case, and perfect dial showing no spidering or cracks to the lacquer.
