Breitling "2005 SuperOcean" Chronograph

Breitling “2005 SuperOcean” Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is one of the coolest dive chronographs out there – the Breitling SuperOcean, bearing the reference 2005, circa 1960s. Coming in at a large 42mm, this chronograph is dubbed the “slow chronograph”. The watch does not have normal registers like a typical chronograph; instead, the watch “chronograph” hand counts down the minutes, and the user is able to tell the chronograph is deployed by a changing of colors at the indicator located near 6 o’clock.

This Breitling SuperOcean is in immaculate condition, and one of the nicest we’ve ever seen. The case is unpolished and mint, as well as the caseback. The dial has no flaws, and virtually no wear, whatsoever. The original tritium lume is still present in both the hands and dial, and has aged to a lovely golden yellow.
