Description
Up for grabs is a triple-date chronograph made by Breitling in the 1940s. The Ref. 785 “Datora” is a highly coveted watch amongst Breitling collectors, and powered by either a Venus 191 or Valjoux 72C movement. The present example utilizes the Valjoux 72C movement.
The present Breitling Datora is in great vintage condition. The faceted-lug rose gold case appears unpolished and in excellent condition. The original dial is in good condition, with some light blemishing in and around the subdials.
