Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”. The serial of this GMT-Master is 2.9m dating this watch to 1971-72, and it features an “MK2” dial. Further, this example comes complete with its original Rolex box and double-set of “punched” Warranty Certificates, showing the original date of sale in 1972 in Spain.
The watch itself is in great vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past but remains thick and even. The dial is mint, with no flaws. Further, the original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a nice creamy yellow color. Finally, the original “Pepsi” bezel insert has aged to a nice “faded blue jeans” color.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster folded-link 7836 bracelet with 258 endlinks; the bracelet has 12 full links with some stretch.
