Description
Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer I, Reference 1016, circa 1987 (R-serial) toward the very end of production, which comes complete as a full-set, with its original Rolex box, “punched” Warranty Certificate, and Explorer booklet, and a recent service by Rolex (including RSC card, still under warranty). This particular Explorer is in great condition. The case has been lightly polished, but still retains thick and even lugs. The dial is gorgeous, with no major damage, chips, scratches, etc. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice off-white/cream color. The watch comes equipped on a Rolex Oyster 78360 bracelet with 580 endlinks, with 11 full links and minimal stretch.
