Description
Up for grabs is an uncommon Rolex Day-Date, Ref. 18078, which was transitional from the Reference 1803, introducing the “single quick-set” function, which allows the owner to quickly just the date via the crown. This example dates to 1984, and is fitted with a rare “wood” dial. Further, this watch comes complete as a full-set, maintaining its original Rolex “Presidential” box and “punched” Guarantee Certificate.
The condition of this Rolex Day-Date is excellent. The case is unpolished and sharp, with light wear from use. The dial is in great condition, with no cracks to the lacquered finish of the wood dial.
The watch comes on its original bark hidden-clasp 18kt Rolex Swiss bracelet, with light stretch, and 6 removable screws, fitting an approximate 7.5″ wrist.
