Offered here is an incredible example of a Rolex Submariner, featuring the date window at 3 o’clock, the Reference 1680. This Submariner dates to 1978, towards the end of production for the “white” 1680s.
This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case appears unpolished and sharp, with beveled egdes still visible. The dial is in excellent condition, with no flaws, chips, marks, etc. The tritium lume is original and present on both the dial and hands, aged to a striking and vibrant yellow color. The original and period correct bezel insert is in likewise good condition.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and has 10 full links with no stretch.
