Description
Up for grabs is a great example of the immensely popular Universal Geneve Compax, the so-called “Nina Rindt”, due to the famous model (and wife to racecar driver Jochen Rindt) being photographed wearing this reference. This example is a 2nd execution, with a painted Universal Geneve logo.
This Universal Geneve “Nina Rindt” is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and blemish free, and the serial and reference numbers are still visible on the outside of the caseback. The dial is mint, with no visible wear, and the registers have aged to a nice tropical brown color. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color. The bezel is very clean, with virtually no wear.
