Eberhard Scafograf 100 Diver

Up for grabs is an exceptionally rare dive watch – the coveted Eberhard Scafograf 100. Eberhard, during the 1950s-1960s, produced a line of dive watches – the Scafograf – which were numbered on the dial in accordance with their respective depth ratings (100, 200, 300). The Scafograf 100 is the earliest of the production, with a black gilt dial, and smaller/thinner case style. Very few of these watches have survived, and maybe one or two will be available for sale during any given year.

This Eberhard Scafograf 100 is in great vintage condition. The case is unpolished and razor sharp, with beautifully beveled edges. The dial remains perfect, with no visible flaws. The lume on both dial and hands has been redone in the past, as have most 100s that come to market, due to the poor quality/aging of the original compound used by Eberhard.

Further, this example comes on its original steel Eberhard stretch-rivet bracelet, dated to 1961, in excellent condition and a true rarity in its own right.
