Description
The Nautic series was released by the famous French manufacture, LIP, in 1938, initially with mechanical movements. In the 1960s, they were made with electromechanical R-caliber movements. To prevent magnetism, LIP included a diode in the movement and called its the caliber “Electronic” retaining the flash as a logo.
The example offered here is a late version from the 1970s, and features an oversized 42mm case. The watch is in great vintage condition, with a very nice dial, and unpolished case.
