Description
Up for grabs is one of the most popular Zenith El Primeros produced by the maker in the 1960-1970s – the reference A3818, nicknamed the “Cover Girl”. The A3818 is referred to as the “Cover Girl” as it was used as the cover image of Manfred Rössler’s book, Zenith: Swiss Watch Manufacture Since 1865. This particular Zenith El Primero is in excellent vintage condition. The case of this Zenith chronograph is unpolished and sharp, with original beveled edges. Further, the dial is in great condition, with no visible wear, peeling, or scratches. Lastly, the original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow with no loss on the dial, and a shade darker in the hands.
