Up for grabs is an exceedingly rare Universal Geneve Automatic Chronometre 28. These watches were likely produced in the 1950s, and were fitted in twisted lug cases, similar to the Polerouter. These chronometre watches were made with UG’s Microrotor Cal. 215, and were very highly decorated for the era, with a 28-jewel movement. Further, the silver crosshair and applied logo dial is contrasted nicely with a gold fluted bezel, not typically seen on other Universal Geneve watches of similar build.
This example is in mint condition. The case and dial are both flawless, unpolished, and untouched.
