Back in Universal Geneve’s heyday, they built cases, movements, and dials for other brands, most notably for Jaeger LeCoultre and Zenith. This is one such watch, a 36mm Zenith “Compur” with stepped lugs.
The present example is in good vintage condition. The original dial features “art deco” fonts, and has wear consistent with use/age. The case has been lightly polished, but is still thick and the stepped lugs are very present.
This is a hard watch to come by, in any condition. Finding these “UG built” watches is not easy, and this example has a ton of character. Don’t let this rare opportunity to add one to your collection skate by!
