Zenith “A271” Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a popular and very collectible Zenith chronograph, the reference A271 with a Cal. 146 movement. The 146HP and 146DP movements were the last manual wind movements used by Zenith in a chronograph before the roll-out of the El Primero high beat movements in 1969. Often fitted with a beautiful sunburst dial that shines right back at you, and straight lugs that add an extra to layer to how they sit on the wearer’s wrist, it’s no wonder these pieces are highly sought after by serious collectors.  This particular example is fitted with arguably the most desirable dial color variant, in slate grey/blue.

The example offered here is in top condition, with an unpolished and sharp case and immaculate dial, devoid of any major flaws.
