Up for grabs is a very rare Seiko diver from the late 1960s, reference 6159-7001. This watch is powered by Seiko’s Caliber 6159A, a high beat movement that was originally designed for its Grand Seiko line. Seiko designed this watch as a one-piece case, allowing a diver to dive to a depth of 1000m, which was ahead of the curve in the late 60s. These early Seiko divers have exploded in popularity as of late, and this model is one of the most collectible of the bunch. This particular Seiko diver remains in great condition, with a seemingly unpolished (albeit worn/used) case, a perfect gloss dial, and original tritium lume on both dial and hands; the glass crystal does show some marks/wear.
