Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1972. This example features the so-called “matte” dial variant, which features a rich maroon color and is in great vintage condition. The case — if ever polished before — was done very lightly, showing thick and even lugs, and prevalent original bevels. The dial is gorgeous, with no wear/damage whatsoever. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a gorgeous yellow color.
