Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1974, in “like new old stock” condition. This example features the so-called “matte” dial variant, which features a rich maroon color. Further, this particular watch comes complete as a full-set with its original Rolex box, “punched” Warranty Certificate, and accessories.
This Rolex GMT-Master is in amazing vintage condition. The case is unpolished with sharp, original beveled edges, and the original caseback sticker still visible on the back. The dial is gorgeous, with no wear/damage whatsoever. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color on the dial. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 78363 bracelet with 480 endlinks, and the bracelet is dated to 1976, with 12 full links and no stretch.
A true collector’s set and condition, this one is NOT to be overlooked!
