Rolex “Full-Set Sigma” Daytona

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a beautiful example of Rolex Daytona, Ref. 6263 (circa 1974; 3.9m serial), nicknamed the “Sigma” Daytona, due to the printing of two small sigmas at the bottom of the dial next to “T SWISS T”.  This example is outfitted with a panda-silver dial, and features screwdown pushers. These screwdown pusher-Daytonas have soared in popularity over the last couple decades, and are coveted by collectors, new and old.

The condition of this Daytona is great. The case has been previously polished, but lightly, with thick and even lugs. The dial is in beautiful condition, with no flaws.  The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with extremely beautiful and puffy plots, and only minor loss to the 3, 4 and 9 o’clock plots.  The hour and minute hands appear to be service replacements.

The watch also comes with a 78350/19 Rolex Oyster bracelet, with 571 endlinks. The bracelet has virtually no stretch, and has 13 links in total.  Further, the watch comes with its original Rolex box, and “punched” Guarantee paper.
