Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master II, circa 1990, in two-tone stainless steel and gold, reference 16713. This model directly followed the reference 16753, and with it, Rolex noticeable upgraded the movement and changed the watch to a sapphire crystal. This particular example comes complete with its original Rolex box, “punched” Warranty Certificate, and accessories (as pictured).
This Rolex GMT-Master II “Rootbeer” is in nice vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial has aged to a nicely faded “ghost” appearance, with no major flaws, chips, or scratches. Further, the watch retains its original tritium lume on both dial and hands. The watch is fitted on its original Rolex Jubilee 62523 bracelet with light stretch, and will fit an approximate 7″ wrist.
