Description
Up for grabs is an uncommon Patek Philippe, the Reference 1485, circa 1945. This reference is considered one of Patek’s first waterproof cases, with a sliding mechanism on the sides of the case that open/lock the case. This example is housed in rare stainless steel, and comes with a Patek Philippe box and Extract from the Archives, confirming production in 1945, and the date of sale to January 10, 1947. The watch itself is in great condition, with a sharp case and blemish-free dial. Further, the watch is fitted on a Patek Philippe strap and original Patek buckle.
