Patek Philippe Nautilus

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a rare Patek Phillipe Nautilus, circa 1978, in two-tone, in stainless steel.  The Nautilus is arguably the most famous of Gerald Genta’s designs, and adorned by collectors, new and old.  This Nautilus is in excellent vintage condition, with a sharp case, and no major wear to the bracelet. The dial is in near-mint condition, with only one tiny, almost negligible mark above the handset, visible under a loupe.  The original tritium lume is present on both hands and dial, aged to a golden yellow color.  This is truly a stunning example, and they do not come to the market often in this condition.

The watch is accompanied with an Extract from the Archives, confirming production in 1978, and delivery in February of 1980.
