Up for grabs is a beautiful and rare Longines chronograph, circa 1930s, featuring an oversized 39mm 18kt Yellow Gold, early Cal. 15 (Valjoux 22) monopusher, and enamel pulsations dial. This watch was also made for competition by Longines, as denoted by the inner caseback.
This Longines chronograph is in fantastic condition. The yellow gold case, which is usually very malleable, has been exceptionally preserved, and does not show signs of polishing. The enamel dial is also in excellent condition, with only very minor cracking at the edge of the dial towards 2 o’clock, not visible to the naked eye, and barely visible under a loupe.
