Founded in 1832, Longines is considered by many to be one of the best watchmakers in the world. Many important collectors feature their 13zn, 30ch and 12.68 caliber chronographs as focal points in their collections.
The watch offered today is equipped with a rare, black and gilt (gold) dial, often used in military watches so as not to attract attention. This watch, equipped with a 12.68 caliber chronograph movement, has a single pusher which is used to operate the stop-seconds chronograph. The dial is in great condition, and the chronograph functions exactly as it should, with a constantly moving chronograph hand. The case appears unpolished; however, the caseback is engraved and shows some pitting with age.
