Description
For sale is a “pre-Carrera” chronograph produced by Heuer, circa 1950s. This watch utilizes the Ref. 2444-style case, and is powered by arguably one of the most important movements used in vintage watches – the Valjoux 72.
This pre-Carrera chronograph is in great vintage condition. The stainless steel case is unpolished, with beautiful and even original bevels. The dial is in good condition, with very light wear. The original lume is still present in both dial and hands, aged to a light patina-yellow color.
