Again, if you are a vintage watch nerd like us, this watch needs no introduction. “Heuer Autavia” and “Jochen Rindt” are likely staples in your vintage vernacular. If you are looking for an Autavia, many would argue this is THE Autavia to own.
Some great reading on this model can be found here: http://www.fratellowatches.com/tbt-heuer-autavia-2446-jochen-rindt/
And for general Autavia knowledge, head on over to Calibre 11 and OnTheDash.
This is a transitional 3rd execution (Mk3) example, with the desirable screw-back caseback. It is in good vintage condition, with some wear to the bezel, and some patina on the dial. The case has been polished, but the lugs are still thick and even.
This is your chance to own maybe the most desirable Heuer ever made. The Rindts are becoming harder and harder to find, so grab yours while you can!
