Up for grabs is a Cartier Santos Dumont, circa 1970s, which has exploded in popularity as of late, along with the majority of vintage Cartier models as of late. The Santos Dumont was created in collaboration by Louis Cartier and Alberto Santos-Dumont. Santos-Dumont complained about his inability to easily check the time while flying, and thus they designed a slim, light watch that would be suitable for him to comfortably wear while flying.
This Cartier Santos Dumont is in great vintage condition. The case was likely lightly polished In the past, but shows original definition in the lugs. The dial is perfect, with no flaws. The watch is fitted on a black leather Cartier strap (with generic tang buckle), which is worn; an additional Italian leather strap will be included.
