Offered here is a good example of a 1970s Breitling Datora, Ref. 2031, nicknamed the “Surfboard” chronograph, as the oval in the center of the dial resembles, well, a surfboard! This example is in good vintage condition. The case does not show signs of polishing, and is thick, sharp, and even. The dial is in great shape, with no noticeable blemishes, and aged to a cream patina color. The original lume is still present on both hands and dial, aging to a darker brown, matching the aging of the dial.
