Audemars Piguet “4100ST Tropical” Royal Oak

Up for grabs is a rare and transitional Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Reference 4100ST (stainless steel), produced for a very short time in the 1980s.  This reference is transitional before the 14790, and retains the vintage look and fonts that the 14790 lost, but with an upgraded movement that would carry over in to the reference 14790.

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is in nice great condition. The case has been very lightly polished in the past, but retains strong bevels in the lugs, remaining very sharp.  Further, the dial is immaculate, with no flaws, and aged to a dark brown color.  Likewise, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color. Please Note: the bracelet is a couple links short from full, and will accommodate an approximate 7″ wrist.
