Up for grabs is an uncommon and early collector’s grade full-set Rolex Oyster Perpetual, with rare “OCC” (Officially Certified Chronometer) dial, circa 1958. This particular features an applied numeral dial, and is complete with its original box and paperwork from the date of sale. Included in the set is the watch’s inner and outer Rolex box (of which displays the reference number 6564), large Chronometer certificate, small Chronometer certificate, Guarantee certificate (dating the original sale of the watch to February 3, 1959), and hangtags (with filled out written reference and serial number).
The watch itself is in excellent vintage condition. The case appears very lightly polished, with thick and even lugs, and minimal wear. The dial is likewise beautiful, with no major damage, and only the lightest of patina. The watch further comes equipped on its original Rolex Swiss Rivet 7205 bracelet, with 57 endlinks and dated to the 3rd quarter of 1958, and has 13 full links and minimal stretch.
