Up for grabs is a lovely “non-serif” Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513, circa 1968 (1.9m serial). The “non-serif” dials were the 2nd iteration (after the “meters first” dial) of Rolex Submariner models to feature a “matte” dial, produced in the late 1960s and through the 1970s. This Rolex Submariner is in great condition. The case has been previously polished, but the lugs remain thick and even, with beautifully beveled edges. The dial is flawless, with no chips, scratches, tool marks, etc. The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a beautiful and puffy yellow color. The original fat font insert is in good condition, with minimal wear.
Lastly, this Submariner comes on its original Rolex Oyster folded-link 9315 braceclet, with correct 380 endlinks, and has 12 full links with light stretch.
