Up for grabs is an excellent example of an Omega Speedmaster, of the so-called “Pre-Moon” models, Reference 145.012-67, circa 1967, with a correct serial range of 26xxxxx. This example is in beautiful vintage condition. The case has likely been lightly polished, but the lugs are still very thick and even, with original bevels present in the lugs. The dial is perfect, with no blemishes, and has started to lightly turn “tropical” brown. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a striking golden yellow color, and green in the hands. The original and correct “DON” (Dot Over Ninety) bezel is in good shape, aged to a faded brown hue, and lightly dented on the left side.
