Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular Heuer Carrera, reference 2447T (T designated the tachymeter dial). These 1960s Carrera remain immensely collectible, and draw similar design and mechanical comparisons to the Rolex Daytona, using the same Valjoux 72 movement. This example is a 1st execution, with a serial of 56xxx, circa 1966-1967.
The condition on this Carrera is excellent. The case is unpolished and sharp. The dial is in great condition, with virtually no wear, and has a beautiful two-tone appearance due to the metallic color of the outer tachy ring. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, with nice and full lume plots.
