Up for grabs is the immensely popular Reference A386 Zenith El Primero chronograph. According to the in-depth research done over at Alpha Hands, who provide an amazing reference guide for the A386, we know that only 2,500 examples of the A386 reference were produced during this time, between 1969 and 1971. Featuring a tri-color dial and straight-lug case, this watch is a true classic, which is why Zenith reissued it several years back. This particular example is a 3rd (MK3) execution.
This Zenith El Primero is in incredible condition. The case is sharp with original beveled edges, and appears unpolished. The dial is free of any major flaws or marks. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow color. The watch is fitted on its original Zenith leather strap and steel Zenith buckle; due to the age of the strap, a generic Italian leather strap will be provided along with the watch.
