Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1971. This example features the so-called “matte” dial variant, which features a rich maroon color.
This Rolex GMT-Master is in nice vintage condition. The case has been polished in the past, but still retains thick and even lugs. The dial is gorgeous, with no wear/damage whatsoever. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color. The watch comes fitted on a rare Rolex Two-Tone Mexican Jubilee band with 455 endlinks, and has light stretch.
