Up for grabs is a very rare and uniquely aged Rolex square, Reverso-shaped watch circa 1937, an oddball reference 3085. Produced during a bygone era wherein Rolex experimented with many different case shapes and styles, this particular watch was made in a 44 x 22m flexible lugs steel case, and fitted with a salmon dial and roman numeral markers. The watch itself is in good vintage condition, with a strong case, seemingly unpolished, and a lovely dial, showing a unique and even patina throughout. Further, the watch is fitted on a Gay Freres stretch-rivet bracelet, dating to 1950.
