Offered here is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16758, in 18kt Yellow Gold, circa 1981. The Reference 16758 is transitional from the Reference 1675, upgraded with a sapphire crystal and Caliber 3075 movement, and introduced the quick-set function to the GMT line. These watches came fitted with a variety of dials, with the brown “nipple” dials being amongst the most favored by collectors.
The condition on this gold GMT-Master is very good. The case has been lightly polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The brown nipple dial is in great condition, with no major wear or damage. Further, the original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to an off-white color. The watch comes fitted on a very rare Rolex Swiss Oyster rivet 7206 bracelet, and has 11 full links with no stretch.
